Romans 15:5,6 (NIV)
May the God who gives you endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The apostle Paul in his letter to the Church in Rome is encouraging believers to live in unity with one another. We as networkers should hold a similar view. But. Do you find it at all interesting how when you meet a fellow network marketer that more times than not there is this tension.
I go to many different networking events and every time a fellow networker finds out that I’m in the same industry all of a sudden things change. Their tone once sweet is now blunt. Their body language changes, they don’t know if they can trust me. I would like to say that this is an insecure worldly thing to do. But. I personally know good Christian people who can be, at times, a little suspect because we are in different companies.
The world already has a stereo type of network marketing. The world already has a stereo type of Christians. Are we helping to address the image of our industry or even our faith by acting in this manner towards other Christian network marketers?
No matter what company your in, what denomination you belong too, what outward differences we may seem to have, we are children of God. Love on your fellow networker, love on your brother and sister in Christ. In this love we will show the world we are His disciples.
John 13:34-35
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”
As Christian networkers let us work as unto the Lord. Be humble to your fellow network marketers. Don’t be a rock star networker, too cool to invest in someone else. Be gentle with your words and your actions. Be patient with your distributors, your fellow networkers, and with your prospects. Do all this out of love, and I have a feeling that He will take good care of you and your business. But don’t take my word for it…
Ephesians 4:2,3
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Good word here. As Christians we need to be so much better at loving each other than we currently do.
Very well said and thought out. Thanks for providing the scriptural references as well.
